Home Brew Coffee is a cafe located at close vicinity with Flavor Bliss and Mall Alam Sutera. Located at the 3rd floor, they offers quite a spacious area, enough to accommodate your party/gathering needs!
Christmas is in the air, so aside from their already cozy and comfy atmosphere, the touch of Christmas decoration here and there really brings out the warmth and ‘family-feel’ of this place.
Aside from the cozy ambiance, Home Brew Coffee also offer a variety of brunch, dessert, and light finger foods.
Hot Mocha – IDR44,000++
It was too bad that the latte art wasn’t as good as I want it to be. However, the taste was quite nice so I’ve got no complaints in overall! The hot mocha was more hot chocolate then mocha, but since I do not like strong coffee, I truly liked this particular beverage.
The Chocolate wasn’t too sweet, it’s made of dark chocolate so it’s very aromatic too..
Avocado Marron Blended – IDR48,000++
It was a very refreshing avocado blend! I was a bit confused at first because I can’t really taste the avocado because they use powdered avocado which makes the taste of avocado less distinct. However, the bright side is that it makes it taste lighter but just as refreshing as any blended drinks. It wasn’t too sweet either!
Crispy Chicken Fritters – IDR50,000++
It was absolutely LOVELY! Both by presentation and taste! The chicken was crispy but not too oily. I also love the fact that it doesn’t taste like your normal supermarket chicken karaage, it truly looks like it was made cook-to-order and fresh everyday!
Stuffed Chicken – IDR70,000++
I could see that it was cooked fresh by order! It came out splendidly in a mini pan, beautiful presentation of stuffed chicken with mushroom, veggies, and melted cheese accompanied by the distinct aroma which truly make everyone on the table turn their heads!
The chicken was so tender and very well-marinated. The stuffing inside was perfect- seasoned nicely to compliment the taste of chicken, and the right amount of stuffing to cover the whole chicken breast. The grilled tomatoes was also soft and moist, but not overcooked as to make it too gooey and watery. I would come back here just for the stuffed chicken!
Cajun Chicken Pasta – IDR55,000++
The Cajun chicken pasta was pleasant. It wasn’t as spicy as I thought a ‘normal’ Cajun dish would be but it was still alright. The pasta was very aromatic and cooked nicely at al dente. I just hoped that they put a lot more chicken on it because it became a pasta-only Cajun dish towards the end.
It took quite a long time for the food to come out, I think it’s because they made everything cook-to-order, thus extending the waiting time. Nevertheless, it wasn’t all for nothing because the food was truly good! Everything sure looked fresh and piping hot when it reached our table!
Overall I thought the food was all delicious, I never expect a cafe to cook delicious looking gourmet food indeed! Though priced towards the middle-end of the range, it was still alright when you take in to account the ambiance you get from the place!
