It’s been a long time since I’ve wanted to visit this particular coffee shop, and my wish finally came true exactly on Christmas day this year!
The place was unexpectedly spacious! They have both indoor and outdoor areas, both are well-decorated and cozy indeed. They even put much thought into the design of the ceiling inside!
Caffe Latte – IDR28,000++
Since I’d rather like bitter aftertaste in my coffee, the sour aftertaste here at 6 Degrees Coffee aren’t exactly to my liking. It wasn’t milky enough too for a ‘Caffe Latte’. Wasn’t that bad though, since my Dad taken quite a liking to this cup of coffee.
Chicken Chop – IDR65,000++
These are pan fried chicken with potato wedges, sauteed mix vegetables, and black pepper sauce. Not bad – quite good actually! I like the distinct yet not too overpowering flavor of the black pepper sauce. My only complaint was the chicken that is too fatty to my taste. The potato wedges are, however, absolutely lovely!
Chicken Schnitzel – IDR65,000++
I didn’t expect much from Chicken Schnitzel since it’s a ‘do or die’ dish – it may turn out too oily, or too hard and overcooked. A simple dish that may be the cause of disaster when left unattended.
However, the Schnitzel was delicious! It wasn’t too oily and the chicken was just as tender! I’d love it if they put in more mushroom sauce on top, but otherwise everything else was nummy yummy!
Carbonara Pasta – IDR58,000++
Truly the highlight of my meal, you should TRY this! It was well-seasoned and SOOOO CREAMY! It’s creaminess, however, doesn’t make you nauseous and that’s the best part of it! Ooh how I am craving for it right now!
Overall I truly think that this is a very nice coffee shop to hang around. Good food, nice ambiance. The price was standard considering the medium-small (depending on your appetite) portion. The taste, however, was quite nice and delicious!
